Flower Essences & Custom Blends

Gentle Energetic Support from the Natural World, Created Especially for You

One of my great joys is co-creating vibrational flower essences with the natural world — and sharing the gifts and wisdom of these flowers, plants, trees and gemstones with you. I create bespoke blends for clients and the retreats and gatherings I host. Most of the essences are made on the land we are blessed to live on in the woods of the Kettle Moraine Forest in Southeastern Wisconsin. I honor that this area is on the traditional lands of the Peoria , Sauk and Meskwaki , Potawatomi  and Očeti Šakówiŋ (Sioux) peoples.

Flower essences are the energetic imprint of a flower (or gemstone or tree or special place) into water, and this energetic signature is usually preserved with alcohol, traditionally brandy. Flower essences carry the energy of the plant and offer energetic support to shift, transform, release and re-pattern on an emotional, mental, spiritual and even physical level. For any flowers, plants or gemstones that are toxic or poisonous, I use an indirect and vibration-only method to create these essences so none of the toxic constituents are placed into the essence water.

I plan to launch an online shop at some point. Stock bottles (1/2 ounce) are $15 plus shipping; custom blends are 1 ounce in size and are $30 plus shipping. If you are interested in either a custom flower essence blend or purchasing a stock bottle, drop me a line here

I offer free consultations and readings to help you choose the right flower essences for you and your specific needs at this time.

Engaging With Your Flower Essence

The usual dosage is 1-3 drops up to 2-3 times per day in a small glass of water or dropped under the tongue, separate from any food. If you are sensitive, you might start with 1 drop, twice a day and increase from there as you see how the essence effects you.

You can also massage the essence directly onto your skin on any body part that calling for the essence (wrists, heart center, temples, to name a few possibilities) or at acupuncture/acupressure points. You can also add the flower essence to your bath, into your tea, into any herbal or essential oil creations like an oil roll-on or a room spray, or add to food (e.g. morning smoothie, cakes and cookies, salad dressing, energy balls).

Since flower essences are energetic in nature, they do not interfere with other medications, provided the preservative (alcohol, vinegar or glycerine) used isn’t a concern. Flower essences are safe to use by everyone from the very young to very old — even your pets. You can also give to your plants or to a tree or land the gift of flower essences.

Even though flower essences are gentle energetic medicine, they can sometimes elicit strong reactions, such as stirring up symptoms and emotions as you engage with them. Pay attention and practice good self-care when using flower essences.

Flower essences are benefited by both time and belief. I suggest taking your flower essence for several weeks or until the bottle is gone as feels right for you. The shifts are generally more subtle, so taking flower essences over time allows you to notice any shifts and changes. Keeping a journal while taking an essence can be helpful to track your experience of the essence.

Additionally I feel it helps to believe that the flower essence will be of assistance. I like to review the any messages or qualities for the essence (either that you receive when tuning in or that you find via other’s research) and give a title or affirmation to my essence so that each time I’m taking the essence I’m reinforcing my intention for taking the essence. Sometimes I also meditate on or use my active imagination to meet with the flower from the essence as well.

The flower essences I make are usually stock bottles, which means that you can extend the life and potency of your essence by making a dosage bottle from the stock bottle. I include instructions for how to do this with each order.
