Poppy Posies: A Week of Flower Wisdom, Day 3

Welcome to Day 3!
A little quote to start:
I sing the Poppy! The frail snowy weed! The flower of Mercy! that within its heart Doth keep "a drop serene" for human need, A drowsy balm for every bitter smart. For happy hours the Rose will idly blow-- The Poppy hath a charm for pain and woe. ~ Mary A. Barr, White Poppies
And on to our regularly scheduled wisdom:

No one has the same lens on the world you do. Your unique view is needed. It's the whole of all the different flowers blooming that makes the whole more beautiful.
We sometimes forget in the ending of something (which can sometimes be messy and ugly and painful) that we are making way for new seeds of possibility to take root. Trust in the cycle of life. Know that after every bloom has ended, the seeds of new blooms can emerge.

Tell me, what are the flowers saying to you?

What is all this poppycock about? you ask.
Poppy Posies is a spontaneously planned week of sharing the wisdom of flowers. First post here.
More coming tomorrow.
P.S. I am traveling to Ohio today to pick up our daughter from her 10-day big fun extravaganza with her grammy and auntie. So looking forward to seeing her. I've so enjoyed this freedom, but am ready to have her back home. I have posts lined up for next two days, though, so the flowering will go on. Have a wonderful 4th everyone! Much love, Shannon
